Especially when you're booking an interstate move, pricing can vary depending on the size of your move, and what date you’ll be moving on. It’s helpful to know that pricing for a move is kind of like buying a plane ticket – we’re a capacity-based industry, so being flexible, so booking on less desirable dates, like a Tuesday or Wednesday, and booking early can be a money saver.

With a local move, your items will be delivered the same day, unless otherwise outlined by you and your moving team.

With a long-distance move, you will be provided a delivery spread. Long distance moving vans may have other stops to make on their route to your new home, and there are Department of Transportation restrictions that prohibit us from traveling a certain way. This means that moving companies are unable to “follow” you to your new home. There are constraints when it comes to time on the road and mileage, so if you want to load in Austin today and deliver in California a few days from now, it's unfortunately not possible. Likely, you will get a date a couple to a few weeks from your loading date.

For an international move, the timeline will depend on the country you are moving to, as the customs process and backlog can vary wildly depending on location.
