Full-Service Packing and Unpacking
With our full-service packers and movers, you can get the assistance you need to get your move prepped and ready to go, without all the hassle. Using only the best materials and techniques, our professional packers and movers are experienced, background checked and well trained to provide the best level of service possible. If you don’t have the time to pack your home yourself, the full-service option takes a lot of stress off you while we handle it all. We also offer partial packing services to meet your budget and needs, and will only pack the items you tell us to.
Not sure what’s going and what’s staying? We offer secure household goods storage to keep your personal belongings secure for as long as you need. In certain locations, we offer temperature- or climate-controlled storage options to safely store delicate or temperature-sensitive items.

I had a wonderful experience with Suddath Van Lines..from Sherman Reed who provided me a quote using a video app to walk thru my entire home to assess and inventory an overall view.. to Tina who followed up on all the services from before initial pickup and after to before and after redelivery…to make sure all was well. I moved locally from my home to a newly built townhome in the same city of Jacksonville, FL. It was a complicated process that was made easier because of the full services provided by Suddath. It required Suddath to pack my belongings, store them for 11 days and redeliver them to my new townhome. Bill who was the driver and leader of a team of guys who packed and later delivered my belongings …were outstanding. Everyone was so respectful and diligent and everything was handled without a hitch. The careful and masterful packing was impressive. I must state that Bill is a Suddath Superstar. He is a master at driving and handling the truck. He called the day before and then again before arriving the next day. He also did the same when the redelivery was scheduled 11 days later. He scoped out the route it would take to arrive on time and leave in an orderly way. He was friendly and so organized and he methodically inventoried everything. He is a great leader of his crew…showing appreciation to each member throughout the process. They worked flawlessly together. I requested them to be the ones to deliver everything 11 days later after storage. Suddath hired experts to pack and reset up my grandfather clock and marbled table tops. I loved the fact that Suddath handled everything including climate controlled warehousing for 11 days my entire home furniture, paintings, mirrors and wardrobe. Suddath has been around a long time here in Jacksonville. The Suddath family had built a great reputation and they proved to be trustworthy professionals.

The reason that I chose Mayflower is because I have a history with the company, from my very first move from New Jersey to Florida in 2008 to my present move from Florida to Texas in 2020. The care and concern taken for my belongings lived up to my expectations, everyone involved was courteous, and their professionalism was second to none. We always recommend you check with your homeowner’s insurance first. While we probably have the best trained home movers in the industry, you must consider the elements like rain and snow. Having extra protection is something you should consider – we don’t think you’ll need it, but an educated consumer is a wise consumer.
All the estimates are no-cost and no-obligation. Whether you call in or use our option for a virtual walkthrough using your smartphone, a salesperson will look at what your needs are, and then give you a couple of choices. An example would be a ‘not to exceed’ or a flat rate. We look at your move, your budget, the particulars of your move, and then we present what we think is going to work best for you.
We have state-of-the-art facilities across the U.S., with probably the best security systems in the industry. We have ambient storage and climate-controlled storage. We have a variety of storage options that will allow someone to work within their budget and make sure that if there are any special requirements, we have the logistical ability to handle it.
The main difference between short and long-term, or permanent, storage is the time frame in which your household items will be stored. It’s important to remember that for interstate moves, your storage time may cap at 180 days. In either case, your items will be stored in a fully enclosed vault within a warehouse. With vault storage, our warehouse staff will pad wrap your valuables and carefully store them in the container.
The best security in terms of your home and belongings is a well-educated, well-trained driver. We train our drivers intensively through the Suddath University program, which is on-site in Jacksonville, FL.
