London, UK (Sept. 10, 2018) – Sterling Mobility, a subsidiary of Lexicon® Relocation and The Suddath Companies, announces a key addition to its executive leadership team with the appointment of Peter Sewell as managing director for its EMEA and APAC divisions. Sewell assumes the position with several decades of experience in global mobility and relocation.

Sewell most recently served as regional director for mobility covering Northern Europe for Crown Worldwide. There he developed and delivered business strategies for global mobility and served as a member of the global senior leadership team, driving development of emerging technology strategies. Well-versed on the supplier side of the business, Sewell has worked in both the corporate and consulting sides of the global mobility industry as well. Prior to Crown, he was head of the Global Mobility unit and head of Group Talent and Diversity for Tesco, the largest UK-based retailer with operations throughout the UK, EMEA and APAC. He served over ten years with Marks & Spencer, another prominent UK retailer, working in its international human resources and global mobility departments. Additionally, as a consultant with Andersen and Deloitte, he was part of the tax division delivering expatriate support services for global clients. Sewell was the recipient of the Forum for Expatriate Management’s 2017 EMEA Award for outstanding contribution to Global Mobility.

“Our Lexicon Relocation global mobility business unit more than doubled in size after the acquisition of UK-based Sterling Mobility, allowing us all to provide our mutual clients the truly global reach and benefits they need,” said Mike Brannigan, president and CEO for The Suddath Companies. “Peter is crucial to our strategy of expanding client service offerings, such as global assignment management, as well as deepening the knowledgebase of our employee talent pool for handling regulatory, customs or tax issues in complex or niche areas of expertise. With his multifaceted background and substantial industry knowledge, Peter will bring strong leadership, vision, market presence and business acumen to this critical role with our Sterling Mobility and Lexicon Relocation teams as we expand to meet the increasing demand of global mobility customers.”
