In Central Florida alone, we have 10,000 square feet of climate-controlled storage space. We are happy to offer storage at our facility in Melbourne for your long and short-term storage needs. However, please note that for moves within the state, short-term storage is capped at 180 days.

At our facility, we carefully place your items in a fully-contained storage container vault. Your items are pad wrapped and securely held within the warehouse until you let us know you need them again.

We follow all industry guidelines for proper background-checking and drug screening in accordance with the Department of Transportation and our own industry-leading quality standards.

Our crews are extensively trained in our own Suddath University on all moving procedures and also require extensive mentored training before working in a customer’s home. At Suddath University, staff participates in training to become well-versed in safety, regulatory and corporate practices, as well as developing and perfecting customer services skills that lend to a favorable experience with our clients. We even have move simulation procedures where crew members can practice in a pre-fab, single-family home to put everything they learned into practice.

Additionally, local branches hold regular monthly meetings to stay up to speed on any new safety issues and new methodologies that will improve the overall moving process.

Yes, we do, however, there may be some stipulations for moving certain items.

In terms of firearms, we can and will move your personal firearms within the contiguous United States, provided they aren't on the excluded list. Customers are authorized to ship all conventional firearms, antique firearms, and surplus military firearms provided the owner is in possession of licenses and permits or documentation required by law. Movers will not ship any ammunition.

For appliances such as washers, dryers, and stoves, you must disconnect and secure all fittings (bolts, hoses, etc.) prior to the move date. If you are shipping or storing a front-load washer, please provide the necessary hardware (shipping bolts) when available. If not, please provide the make and model to the pre-move survey at the time of the survey so we can see about assisting. For refrigerators and freezers please defrost and clean and allow for 2 days of drying time with doors open prior to the move to prevent the growth of mold and mildew.

When it comes to valuables, such as jewelry, personal documentation and sentimental items, it is advised to keep those on your person during the move. Make sure these items are properly marked that they are not to be packed. In fact, securing these items in a separate location, such as in your personal vehicle, which will help to avoid a crew member accidentally packing these items with the rest of the move.
