We interviewed several moving companies for a local move. Most were charging hourly and it was obvious they were under estimating the time it would take to move. Suddath was a flat rate for a two day move (other companies said it would take 6-8 hours). We went with Suddath for the peace of mind even though looking at the estimates they were higher because we knew it would not go over that. The move took all of two full days for the and our crew was awesome and hustling non stop (so that showed us the other companies were way off). They made sure our stuff was protected and moved safely. We could not have asked for a better moving experience.

The virtual walkthrough can be done easily from your phone or tablet. This is a time-saving option for many customers. Early in the morning, or perhaps after work, you can pick a time that is convenient for you with little interruptions where a representative can survey your home using an application similar to FaceTime or Skype. As you guide a move coordinator through your home, we can ask the necessary questions, take important notes and identify potential unique circumstance that a crew may encounter on moving day that we can plan for. The more we can plan, the better we can save time and increase efficiencies for a successful move.
With either option, Suddath will be able to provide accurate moving logistics, and provide you with a detailed, itemized and finalized moving quote.
Our first order of business is to complete a detailed inventory of your items. The virtual or in-house walkthrough will help with that. We will pack and log all items, noting any existing damages or special indicators attributed to your items so that we have a record of their condition prior to the move. We will then create a catalog of your items with box labels and markers for room locations.
As actual moving gets underway, we will follow our procedures for home protection to cover floors, protect doors, pad furniture, etc. and then systematically begin emptying the contents of your home into our moving vehicles. The items will be loaded into the truck carefully, and tightly, so as to avoid any shifting while traveling. As road travel begins, our support staff will continue to monitor the trip for timing and keep track of the items digitally.
