Everything went well. Friendly representative with virtual visit. Everything was completed as promised. Keep me informed when loading would happen and arrival in Buffalo. After many months in storage while we awaiting the completion for construction of our new home, our household goods were expertly delivered by Sheldon McCants and his two outstanding associates, Gerald and Dennis. They arrived early in the morning (right on time), superbly balanced the pace of work with the care needed to properly handle each item, and didn’t leave until we were 100% satisfied that the work was complete. Throughout they were professional, capable, and very personable. My wife and I have been moving around the world since I joined the Army back in 1980. We’re no strangers to this process and I can wholeheartedly say that Sheldon, Gerald, and Dennis would easily place in elite few at the top of the list of more than 30 crews that have helped us to establish new life chapters in new places. We’re grateful.

I had a wonderful experience with Suddath Van Lines..from Sherman Reed who provided me a quote using a video app to walk thru my entire home to assess and inventory an overall view.. to Tina who followed up on all the services from before initial pickup and after to before and after redelivery…to make sure all was well. I moved locally from my home to a newly built townhome in the same city of Jacksonville, FL. It was a complicated process that was made easier because of the full services provided by Suddath. It required Suddath to pack my belongings, store them for 11 days and redeliver them to my new townhome. Bill who was the driver and leader of a team of guys who packed and later delivered my belongings …were outstanding. Everyone was so respectful and diligent and everything was handled without a hitch. The careful and masterful packing was impressive. I must state that Bill is a Suddath Superstar. He is a master at driving and handling the truck. He called the day before and then again before arriving the next day. He also did the same when the redelivery was scheduled 11 days later. He scoped out the route it would take to arrive on time and leave in an orderly way. He was friendly and so organized and he methodically inventoried everything. He is a great leader of his crew…showing appreciation to each member throughout the process. They worked flawlessly together. I requested them to be the ones to deliver everything 11 days later after storage. Suddath hired experts to pack and reset up my grandfather clock and marbled table tops. I loved the fact that Suddath handled everything including climate controlled warehousing for 11 days my entire home furniture, paintings, mirrors and wardrobe. Suddath has been around a long time here in Jacksonville. The Suddath family had built a great reputation and they proved to be trustworthy professionals.

I would like to extend special recognition to the following individuals: Bill Rindle, Tasha McCrea, Leana Walker, Michelle Wade, Jamie Lettieri, and Tony Link, I do not know the names of the movers who assisted Tony Link with loading in Florida, nor the unloading in Cedar Park, Texas, however, they too deserve a special recognition for their professionalism. The reason that I chose Mayflower is because I have a history with the company, from my very first move from New Jersey to Florida in 2008 to my present move from Florida to Texas in 2020. The care and concern taken for my belongings lived up to my expectations, everyone involved was courteous, and their professionalism was second to none. Most importantly, everyone was pleasant and congenial at all times from the beginning to the end.

VERY UPSETTING AND DISAPPOINTED! I was part of an employee relocation and Suddath was the company that came to load up my household goods. When they brought my goods to the warehouse, they couldn’t find a driver to get my household items to its destination and had to put my items into “Container Shipping” for over a week. In doing so I lost 60% of my clothes, a rug and a box that included items that I had gathered throughout my lifetime. As a single individual with only items for 2 rooms being moved, I felt I was taken advantage of since it was a partial small home move. I had to accept a claim settlement but money will not replace the items lost. This now creates an inconvenience of purchasing new items while I wait and hope that my lost items will be found and returned to me.
