JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (September 15, 2021) – Suddath®, a leading logistics, transportation and relocation company, today announced it passed its second Quality Management System (QMS) audit to maintain its ISO 9001:2015 certification in its logistics business. Originally registered and certified in 2019 and maintained in 2020, the logistics division at Suddath has again achieved zero non-conformances and no formal observations in this year’s surveillance audit.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the gold standard for customer service and is recognized globally across the supply chain industry. In the last two years, Suddath has been commended by the auditing body for demonstrating a robust quality management system and for our ability to show year-round improvements and consistent client KPIs.
The ISO9001 audit scope is to test Suddath’s “Plan, Do, Check, Act” program to ensure its quality management system across all multi-function departments is aimed at meeting or exceeding client satisfaction.
The Logistics ISO9001 certificate held is in the following service areas:
• Warehousing and distribution
• End-to-end supply chain management
• Integrated logistics solutions
Suddath has continued to build and implement proactive data driven controls into its operations to ensure safety, business continuity and customer service were not impacted during the pandemic. The logistics team presented updated workflows and programs during the annual audit to demonstrate the level of risk assessments leveraged for more robust business continuity plans that keep Suddath’s workers safe while not disrupting clients’ supply chain goals.
“Given the challenges for supply chains in the last two years, navigating through this audit with zero non-conformances is a great achievement,” said Scott Perry, president of Suddath moving and logistics. “This is a huge accomplishment and I’m very proud of our entire logistics team for enabling us to continue to build strong environmental, health, safety and quality programs. I want to extend a special thank you to Vice President of Safety and Quality Assurance Trish St. John for continuing to lead our company to success and continuous improvement.”
This certificate is valid from August 2019 to August 2022 and was subject to a second system review in July 2021. Original certification date was 09/17/2019.
