Mike Brannigan

 mike brannigan

President and Chief Executive Officer

Stepping into a leadership role at an established global company with a strong legacy is a big challenge. Mike’s success in doing so is a testament to both his own engaging and empowering leadership style, and to the unique culture of Suddath®, where hard work, teamwork and an attitude of customer service are all it takes to feel a part of the family. Mike makes sure the mission, values and attributes of our company are carried out from the leadership level all the way through to day-to-day operations. Believing that his role is as much brand ambassador as business leader, he also keeps us true to our promises, while making sure the company stays strong and grows across its diverse but unified business units.

With nearly 30 years of finance, accounting and operations experience, Mike has held executive leadership positions in a variety of areas including operations management, corporate development and strategy, fleet and asset management, and corporate planning and international finance.

Kevin Gannon

kevin gannon Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer suddath

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Kevin will tell you he would’ve become an engineer if he hadn’t discovered accounting. Lucky for us, his love of finance won out. He is just as comfortable leading and engaging with teams as he is running the numbers, a balance that fits our organization perfectly. It’s how we’ve stayed customer-focused while also building a strong business.

Kevin leads administrative, financial and risk management operations that guide financial decisions made across our company. Since joining Suddath in 2002, he has served in a variety of roles including Vice President/Controller, Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Operations.

Before he joined Suddath, Kevin was a senior manager with Deloitte & Touche, LLP where he provided tax, auditing, transaction and consulting services to his clients.

Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accounting from the University of Florida Fisher School of Accounting. This left-brained thinker is also a left-handed first baseman. If brain theories hold any truth, this means he may be one of the most balanced people you’ll meet. Along with his love of softball, Kevin enjoys golf, sunshine, the water and all Florida Gator sports.

David Cox

David Cox president Network Operations at suddath

President, Network Operations

Like many Suddath leaders with hands-on moving industry experience, David remains strongly connected to the teams who serve our customers at the most personal level. While his responsibilities include all the strategic systems, processes and day-to-day operations across our national relocation business, you’ll often hear him speak passionately about the character, commitment, skill and careers of our drivers and warehouse teams. His attitude reflects what we feel makes Suddath a different kind of organization, less about hierarchies and more about team spirit.

A 20-year-veteran of the moving industry, David has held many leadership positions in operations, administration, sales, quality assurance, and both general and regional executive management.

Today David continues to stay active in philanthropic and professional organizations, which have included the Pacific Northwest Relocation Council and Big Brothers Big Sisters. His first experience with service and charitable work started years ago, before he joined the moving industry. After surviving the Minnesota winters to complete a degree at Carleton College, he ventured to Albania, where he spent two years teaching English. David is still fluent in Albanian and can hold his own in German and Italian. We value his ability to translate complex information into a language everyone can understand, one of the many characteristics that, along with his calmly accessible and engaging communication style, make David a truly effective leader.

Mark Scullion

Mark Scullion president Workplace Solutions at suddath

President, Workplace Solutions

Inspired to build what he thinks of as a customer-focused and super-responsive “powerhouse” in commercial relocation, Mark has elevated his corner of the industry from a business, to an art, to a science, and back again. Every stage in his work is supported by formal tools, assessments and technology developed in-house by Mark and our dedicated workplace team. Mark can speak easily with authority about all of these innovations, and he will do so gladly, with an enthusiasm that just as easily inspires the room.

Going beyond office moving to include space and furniture planning, office furniture products, and technology, medical, and industrial relocation, Mark’s work has resulted in a wholly unique business unit for his industry. Before serving in his current role he was both Managing Director of Suddath Workplace Solutions and General Manager of the Suddath Jacksonville branch. These are just some of the leadership roles in his 20-year career, which has always been focused in the same direction—building a truly specialized workplace mobility team invested in making a difference.

Mark has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Rutgers University. When he’s not out in the business community building relationships and working with customers, you’ll find him on his boat hooking the biggest fish he can find. His excursions up and down the St. Johns’ river and inter-coastal waterways around Jacksonville are only enhanced when his boat rides are accompanied by his family.
